As seen on TV: new Stafford band Dougal prepare to support the Laterivals at their latest Stafford gig.

Funksters answer the gig call

A brand new band are bursting onto the Stafford music scene, after answering a call in the 'Newsletter'. Up-beat funk rock band Dougal saw a plea for support acts from Stafford's popular four-piece outfit, the Laterivals. Having played a few gigs around the town at places like the Ferkin and Satchmos, Dougal contacted the band to offer their help, after seeing the article in the 'Newsletter' earlier this month.

The Laterivals since said they have been overwhelmed by the success of their concert at Stafford Rangers Social Club and have managed to attract a lot of support. Dougal are just one of a few Stafford-based bands who will be getting their chance to progress by providing support to them.

Their first gig will take place tomorrow night at the Dovecote pub, Stone Road, Stafford. Dougal will be the support act for the Laterivals, providing an evening of unique and exciting music, all from local bands.
